Problematic issues of drug addiction are considered. It is emphasized that drug addiction is one of the highest priority problems of our time due to its medical and social consequences. The health consequences of drug use are a growing concern around the world. It is noted that the spread of illicit drug use is becoming a large-scale antisocial phenomenon, which leads to the destruction of physical and moral health of the nation, its gene pool, law and order, intellectual and economic potential of our country.

Some morphological, physiological and biochemical characteristics of the probiotic species of lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus reuteri are presented in the work. We propose an approach to the preparation of viscoelastic systems based on chitosan without crosslinking agents. It is the formation of an additional network of physical links by introducing a low molecular weight modifier – ethanol or glycerol. It turns out that gelation of chitosan in the solution is accompanied by the formation of additional meshes of physical links, nodes or aggregates of chitosan macromolecules formed in a mixed solvent of acetic acid-water-glycerol or acetic acid-waterethanol.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the evidences to be proved in criminal proceedings at the time of drug trafficking investigation, psychotropic substances its analogues and precursors orfalsified medicine. Besides, it is determined that the subject of a crime lies within the scope of evidences that must be proved in drug trafficking investigation, envisaged in article 305 of the criminal code of Ukraine. It is admitted that the subject of proof is common for the whole criminal procedure, moreover, it is specified while investigating in every concrete case.
