The Noncatalytic and Catalytic Interaction Between Ethanolamine and Acetic ACID
The non-catalytic and catalytic interactions between ethanolamine and acetic acid have been investigated. The effects of the type of catalyst, solvent, temperature, and reagent ratio on acetic acid conversion, reagent amine group conversion, and selectivity for amides and esters were established. The kinetic and thermodynamic parameters for the 2- hydroxyethanamonium acetate transformation into N-(2- hydroxyethyl)acetamide/2-aminoethyl acetate were determined.
