Мodification of road bitumen with humic acids

Modifying road bitumen of the BND 70/100 brand with humic acids was carried out. In particular, the influence of the duration of the process and the amount of addition on the quality characteristics of the binder was studied. It was established that humic acids negatively affect the plastic properties of bitumen (deteriorate the softening temperature, penetration, and ductility), positively affect its elasticity, and have practically no effect on the ability of the binder to adhere to the surface of the mineral material.

Chemical, Spectral and Morphological Characterization of Humic Acids Extracted and Membrane Purified from Lignite

In this study, humic substances were extracted from lignite of Zarand coalfields, Kerman, Iran, using a stirred batch reactor. A membrane ultrafiltration system was used to purify humic acids (HAs) from lignite-derived alkaline extracts obtained from the reactor. Gravimetric analysis along with several analytical methods including CHNOS, UV-Vis, FT-IR, ICP-OES and SEM were utilized to investigate the characteristics of the purified HAs. Gravimetric analysis showed that the purity of HA purified from membrane concentrated humates was higher than 95 %.

FINDING OF KINETIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PROCESS CO-GASIFICATION OF HEAVY COAL TARS WITH LIGNITE AND WALNUT SHELL

Studied of co-gasification of heavy coal tars with lignite and walnut shell in the temperature ranged from  400 to 500 °С, the flow rate of oxidand (air) ranged from 0,0005 to  0,004 m3/min.  It is established that the weigth loss of the sample mixtures in the gasification process has a S-shaped. Mathematical and graphical dependences of the influence of oxidant flow rate on the values of reaction rate constants and activation energy of gasification of experimental mixtures were developed.
