polyvinylpyrrolidone silicate filler

Structure and properties of polycaproamide composites with modified fillers

The influence of the nature of polyvinylpyrrolidone silicate fillers on the structure and properties of polyamide-6 has been established. It has been found that the introduction of polyvinylpyrrolidone silicate filler into polyamide leads to a significant increase in the degree of its crystallinity, while a change in the size of crystallites is also observed. The introduction of a filler based on co-precipitated sodium liquid glass and polyvinylpyrrolidone into polyamide-6 reduces the value of volumetric technological shrinkage and equilibrium water absorption.
