Public and political conditions and principles of the state policy in Poland in the second half of the 20th –first half of the 30th XX c. are highlighted. In particular, the peculiarities of policy’s realization in the conditions of establishing of military dictatorship, taking a census by the authorities of that time and the national minorities’ reaction are revealed.
