HOUSING POLICY IN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES. OVERVIEW OF CITY PRACTICES

Housing policy is one of the most relevant topics in the study of today's world. Ukraine currently lacks regulation of housing development as a state policy, which creates a gap between legislative and regulatory regulation of this aspect. The resulting gap creates ample opportunities for the private real estate market and at the same time alienates the end user, the resident, from his or her right to housing. In European countries, the "right for a home" has a similar status to the Ukrainian one, but the "housing issue" is one of the key issues in the policies of the states.

THE INTERACTION OF ARCHITECTURE AND ENVIRONMENT IN NEAVE BROWN'S MOST OUTSTANDING CREATION

The article explores the origins of unique creative methods of the British architect Neave Brown (1929-2018). The deep ideas that the author laid in the architectural and spatial solutions of the most famous of his works - the Alexandra Road Estate residential complex in the Camden Town district of London (Great Britain) are revealed. In particular, the role of the social context in the formation of housing is revealed and the interaction of architecture with the urban environment is demonstrated.

Public regulation of the enforcement of housing rights of Ukrainian citizens

The article elaborates on the application of public management mechanisms for enforcing housing rights of citizens, and identifies key directions for the application of public management mechanisms for enhancing the national housing policy to ensure proper exercising of citizens’ housing rights.
