BUILDING HEAT SUPPLY SYSTEM BASED ON HYBRID SOLAR COLLECTORS

Increasing the efficiency of solar heat supply systems is one of the important problems of solar energy. The research presented in this article is aimed at improving the efficiency of hybrid solar collectors without a transparent coating for building heating systems. One of the key challenges in the field of solar energy is the development of new technologies to ensure high collection of solar energy and to integrate it into traditional heating and hot water systems.

Visualization of area illumination of the territory of national arboretum park "Sofiivka" through GIS technologies

The purpose of the research is to substantiate the need for the use of GIS technologies in the study of the illumination degree of garden and park plantings. The paper also focuses on the versatile relief characteristics of the territory of the National Arboretum "Sofiivka" of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine by conducting 3D modeling and creating digital models based on it. The models are determined by individual levels of insolation sections of the "Sofiivka" territory.

PROSPECTS OF USING POLYMERIC MATERIALS IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF SOLAR COLLECTORS

The solar energy that reaches the Earth is free, but installations to convert solar energy into heat, as well as equipment for transporting and storage that heat, require some investment. A significant part of the components of these systems are metals. Pipelines in solar collectors and heat exchangers are made of copper, aluminum is used for the absorber and housing, and the steel is often used in heat storage tanks. One of the options to reduce the cost of solar collectors and increase their efficiency is to use polymeric materials instead of metals.

Estimation of Solar Hot Water System Operation for a Residential Building

Solar hot water supply systems can provide a significant part of the thermal energy needed in the residential sector. The use of solar hot water supply systems can reduce the consumption of traditional energy sources and, consequently, reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The aim of this article is to assess the operation of the solar heating system operation to provide the needs of the hot water supply system of a residential building with thermal energy.

EXAMINATION OF THE THERMAL EFFICIENCY OF THE SOLAR COLLECTOR INTEGRATED INTO THE LIGHT TRANSPARENT BUILDING FACADE

The work describes the prospects for the development of solar energy in Ukraine. Interest in the effective use of solar radiation by solar collectors justifies the relevance and expediency of research on the problem of using such energy in them. It is analyzed that solar energy remains a promising direction for generating thermal energy due to: the increased volume of solar radiation entering the territory of Ukraine and the wear or tear of technological equipment running on traditional organic fuel.

SIMULATION OF SOLAR ENERGY GAIN THROUGH NATURAL LIGHTING SYSTEMS OF COMPLEX GEOMETRY

Natural lighting systems are important for the energy efficiency of the buildings. Thus the size of light openings should be optimized to provide visual comfort and decrease the energy needed to provide comfort in the environment. There exist tools to calculate solar energy gain in the buildings of mass construction with enclosing structures in the shape of horizontal and vertical planes. For structures with curvilinear surfaces systems of equations are compiled, to be solved by numerical methods with significant use of computer time.

Heat Stability in Exterior Walls in the Summer

One of the main parameters that determine room climate is the internal temperature therein, which depends on projected external construction of the building. So, first of all, the article analyzes the heat resistance of the external construction of the building which is derived from thermal protection of the building, especially in the summer. Thermal effect on the external construction of the building has been analyzed primarily from the point of impact of solar radiation on the construction in the summer.
