Assessment of the service quality in public transport (analysis of research in Lviv, Ukraine)

The paper assesses the quality of public transport services and the influence of individual components on the value of the overall satisfaction level with transport services. Public transport has many benefits in terms of energy savings, environmental impact, social equity and urban economy. The analysis of existing research confirms that the quality of service provided by the public transport system affects the intentions of potential passengers to use it more.

Study of the passengers average waiting time at public transport stops

When predicting public transport routes in cities, important indicators should be considered: the duration of stay on the bus route, passenger flow on the bus route, points of attraction and the passenger’s average waiting time at stops. These indicators are the basis for planning the operation of city transport. In particular, predicting the duration of traffic by studying the average passenger’s waiting time at stops is an important planning tool for transport companies.
