ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT OF THE STATE OF WATER BODIES IN THE ACCIDENT-IMPACTED ZONE USING INTEGRATED SPATIAL INDICATORS

In order to enhance the level of environmental safety at potentially hazardous enterprises, plans for the localization and elimination of emergency situations and accidents (PLEA) are developed. The PLEA governs the actions of enterprise personnel, population and authorities. However, under current regulations, it does not govern the procedures for monitoring the state of environmental components that may be affected in the event of an accident. This is particularly relevant to the monitoring of a water body into which accidental discharges of chemical pollutants may occur.

Establishing the environmentally safe width of protective riparian zone along water bodies

Aim. Establishing protective riparian zonesalong the riversides of the Shopurka river inside water protection zones at the territory of urban settlement Velykyy Bytchkiv for protecting surface water bodies from polluting and littering, as well as for saving their water content. The aim of the research is determining the safe protective riparian zonesof water bodies taking into account ecological factors.

DISTRIBUTED SYSTEM FOR MONITORING AND FORECASTING OF WATER BODIES QUALITY

The structure and principles of constructing a distributed monitoring and forecasting system for water bodies quality designed to forecast the state of water supply sources in the remote mode are considered. The database of water bodies of Ukraine for storing the received data, including the data from the nongovernment and international organizations, is implemented. The interaction between the distributed subsystems is carried out via the client-server architecture.
