Abstract. This article is dedicated to the analysis of newly introduced provisions in the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which criminalize such offenses as "collaborative activities" and "assistance to the aggressor state." Research into the practices of law enforcement agencies in investigating these crimes has revealed complexity in distinguishing between the aforementioned offenses and related provisions of the same Code that were adopted earlier. This necessitated a deeper analysis of this issue.

Annotation. The article draws attention to the fact that international protection of rights during armed conflicts plays an important role, and it must be effective for its implementation in countries in armed conflicts Regardless of its nature, whether international or non-international armed conflict, it threatens the realisation of most fundamental human rights and freedoms, including the most important natural human right - the right to life.

The article attempts to identify the peculiarities of the coverage of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in the world media. The research was based on publications from the websites of three media outlets –«The Washington Post», «The Guardian» and «Al Jazeera».

The culture and conflicts have always been intertwined throughout the history of humanity. During armed conflicts, deliberate targeting of cultural heritage sites takes place. The aggressor's goal is not only the occupation of lands but also the imposition of a different ideology and the erasure of historical memory. As cultural heritage is a component of cultural identity, it can also be directly attacked for ideological reasons, as we can observe in Ukraine.
