In the article is analysed the place and the role of igumen Clymentiy Sheptytsky and Studit monasteries in the social-cultural movement, in the formation of religious consciousness, in spread of Christian moral values, in self-assertion and consolidation of Greec-catholics in the east of Halychyna in the researched period.
