Instructions for Authors

Manuscript submission

All manuscripts must be submitted via the submit system: https://submit.lpnu.ua/uk/acps

Submission indicates that the article has not been published and is not under consideration for publication in other journals. The submitting author is responsible for ensuring that publication of the article is approved by all co-authors. Authors are also responsible for ensuring that articles originating from a specific institution are submitted with the necessary institutional permission. One author may be a co-author of no more than one article submitted to the journal in a single issue.

Manuscript requirements

Manuscripts must strictly follow the template of the journal “Advances in Cyber-Physical Systems”.
The Word template is available here: Template (.doc)
The article must be prepared in black-and-white or grayscale, including figures.
Formatting requirements are available here: example

Peer review

All manuscripts are subject to peer review and must comply with standards of academic integrity. Submissions will be reviewed by the editor and, if not rejected immediately, by anonymous reviewers whose identities remain unknown to the authors.

Title and author information

The following information must be included:
Article title
Full names of authors
Full postal addresses of institutions
Email addresses

Abstract

The manuscript must include an abstract. The abstract must be self-contained, without citations or abbreviations, and must not exceed 200 words. The article should be scientific in content, focused on solving a specific scientific or technical problem, and include results of the development of high-quality and original materials.

Keywords

The manuscript must include 5–7 keywords or phrases separated by commas. To obtain a list of recommended keywords, send a blank email to [email protected] or visit http://www.ieee.org/organizations/pubs/ani_prod/keywrd98.txt.

Introduction

This section must be concise, without subsections. It should clearly define and describe the main problem or issue addressed in the article and indicate its relevance to the scientific community or practical field.

Literature review and problem statement

This section follows the introduction and provides context and background for the research. Authors analyze existing studies related to the topic and identify how their research complements or differs from existing knowledge. The problem or task statement must be clearly defined.

Scope of Work and Objectives

This section should be brief and clearly reflect the aim and scope of the research.

The sections “Introduction”, “Literature review and problem statement”, and “ Scope of Work and Objectives” are mandatory.

Research results

This section presents the obtained data and main conclusions of the study. It may contain subsections or be divided into several parts depending on the nature of the research. It must clearly and in detail describe the results achieved during the study. The results must include descriptions of scientific, novel, individualized, original, and high-quality findings, as well as justification and quantitative evaluation of the achieved improvement.

Conclusion

This section summarizes the work, presents key conclusions, suggests directions for further research, and indicates the practical significance of the results. Conclusions must correspond to the stated aim (all quantitative evaluations are summarized, and it is concluded that the aim has been achieved).

Acknowledgements

All acknowledgements (if any) should be placed at the end of the article after the conclusion. They may include information about grants, presentations, etc.

Conflict of interest

This section must indicate any conflict of interest or state its absence.

Declaration of generative AI

Authors must declare the use of any artificial intelligence (AI) tools during manuscript preparation. AI may be used only as an auxiliary tool for editing, translation, stylistic improvement of text, or technical formatting of tables or figures.

Prohibited: use of AI for creation, generation, or modification of scientific data, results, or conclusions; listing chatbots or AI models as co-authors.

Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy and reliability of all materials created using AI and for compliance with academic integrity principles. If any AI tools were used, this must be indicated in this section with a description of the purpose of their use.

References

Authors are responsible for the completeness and accuracy of each source. All sources must be numbered consecutively, and in-text citations are indicated by numbers in square brackets (e.g., “as noted by Smith [1]”; “as noted in other works [1, 2] or [1–3]”). All sources must be cited in the text; otherwise, they will be automatically removed. Only scientific journals published within the last 5–10 years should be used, and DOI identifiers must be provided.

Author information

After the reference list, photos of co-authors must be provided along with short biographical notes.

Figure preparation

All figures and tables must be included in the Word file when submitting the article. They should not be submitted as separate files. All figures must be cited in the text in sequential order.

Table preparation
