The complex processes of local disturbance of an electric field, as well as the amplification of electrical strength and mechanical and thermal intensities in the solid dielectric, depending on the configuration of its conducting micro-inclusions are described. The analysis of the increase of maximal field strength, stressed volume, electromechanical pressures, forces, and the total current density in the cross-linked polyethylene insulator as the main factors determining the deterministic and stochastic processes of its degradation in the strong disturbed harmonic electric field is performed.
