VI International Scientific and Practical conference "Quality management in education and industry: experience, problems and prospects" was held on November 16-17, 2023 at Lviv Polytechnic National University (Lviv, Ukraine).
The conference was organized within the framework of the international educational project ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet Module 101085516 – QMSEEI – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH “European experience in the implementation of quality management systems for products and services”. The aim of the conference was to encourage the dialogue between the academic world and society, raising the level public awareness of European integration, dissemination of knowledge about European integration processes, activation of scientific and theoretical discussions and public debates, dissemination of experience and best practices of European countries with respect to the development and implementation of quality management systems for products and services, development of international scientific cooperation, exchange of experience and knowledge, definition main tasks and trends in solving quality management problems in education and industry.

The conference was held in a mixed format (offline at the Lviv Polytechnic and online using Microsoft Teams).
The target audience - teachers, scientists, students, graduate students, Ph.D. students, doctoral students, managers, representatives of enterprises and organizations.
There were accepted 171 papers from 322 authors from various educational, scientific institutions and organizations, both in Ukraine and abroad (Poland, Switzerland, India, USA).
Participants from 34 different cities.
In total, participants from 96 different organizations, including: 75 institutions of higher education and 21 companies and enterprises.

To provide feedback after the end of the conference, a survey of target groups (teachers, scientists, students, graduate students, doctoral students, managers, representatives of enterprises and organizations) was carried out using Google Form.
The anonymous survey related to the event, the necessity and usefulness of sharing European experience in the field of product and service quality management was carried out.
In total, 60 people took part in the survey out of 264 who were sent an offer to take part in the survey. This is 44%. The survey was anonymous.
The participants highly appreciated the organization of the conference, and also expressed their interest in studying the European experience in the filed of quality management of products and services.
The results of the survey, feedback and suggestions will be used to improve the next scientific and educational events at Lviv Polytechnic National University.
Based on the results of the conference, it was concluded:
- that the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Quality Management in Education and Industry: Experience, Problems and Prospects" was held at a high scientific and organizational level and had a practical orientation. The goal of the conference was achieved;
- that the institutions of higher education should use the materials of the conference to improve the content of relevant curricula and programs taking into account the European experience;
- to use the experience of European countries in developing and implementing quality management systems for educational services in accordance with European standards ESG 2015 and EN ISO 9001;
- to draw the attention of higher education institutions to the relevance of targeted training of specialists taking into account the needs of enterprises;
- that for formalating the research topics, to recommend that during the training of specialists, higher education institutions should focus on practical aspects with the active use of information technologies and taking into account the European experience of implementing quality management systems for products and services;
- to make further active part in measures directed at comprehensive harmonizing the legislation of Ukraine and the EU in the field of quality management of products and services;
- to expand relations with European institutions by concluding bilateral agreements;
- to draw special attention of higher education institutions to the need for informatization of educational programs, in particular the specialty "Information and measurement technologies", as the main one for digitalization of processes of quality assurance and control, creation of methods and means of input and output of information in modern dispersed information systems (cyber-physical systems);
- to propose to the program committee of the conference to note the best reports of the conference and recommend them for publication in professional journals;
- to place information about the International Scientific and Practical Conference in scientific journals the "Measuring Techniques and Metrology", the "Technical News" as well as on the websites of the Lviv Polytechnic National University, the website of the QMSEEI project and the department of measuring information technologies, as well as in social networks (Facebook);
- to continue using and sharing the experience and the best practices of European countries regarding the development and implementation of quality management systems for products and services in higher education institutions and enterprises;
- to participate and apply for new Erasmus+ European Union competitive programs in the field of education, vocational training, youth and sports.
