Current industry reports, expert forecasts, and marketing publications have been analyzed to systematize knowledge about the future of digital marketing in the nonprofit sector. Key trends have been explored, including the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for automation, personalized donor communication, and predictive analytics. The dominance of short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and the role of visual storytelling in demonstrating social impact are highlighted. The transition from one-way messaging to the development of engaged online communities is addressed as a critical shift. The importance of transparency and ethical data use is underscored as a foundation for trust. Specific strategies adapted for NPOs have been considered, such as local SEO, voice search optimization, and the effective use of Google Ad Grants. The effectiveness of collaboration with micro- and nano-influencers is discussed, along with the necessity of mobile first design across all digital touchpoints − from websites to donation flows.
