Peer Review Process

Article review

Articles submitted to the journal are promptly sent for peer review to two independent experts. The reviewer examines the article abstract and then agrees to review or declines the submitted material. If declined, another reviewer is appointed within a few days.

Within three months, reviewers familiarize themselves with the material and evaluate its scientific quality by completing the "Review Form," which is subsequently retained by the editorial office.

In the submitted form, reviewers provide their comments and upload files containing corrections or materials that may be utilized during the article revision. After completing the main "Peer Review Form," experts select one of the proposed recommendations:

  • Accept the manuscript – the submission is ready for publication and accepted without revisions.
  • Corrections required – acceptance is conditional upon the author addressing the specified comments.
  • Return for review – the manuscript will be accepted or rejected following revision and subsequent peer review.
  • Send to another journal – the article is more appropriate for another journal by subject.
  • Reject the manuscript – the submitted material does not meet the journal’s requirements.
  • See comments – remarks indicating necessary corrections or other issues are provided.

Upon completion of the peer review process, all relevant information is communicated to the author. The author revises the article within one week and submits a new version. If the article is not returned by the specified deadline (or if the editorial office is not notified of the delay), the manuscript will be removed from the queue and deleted.
