We invite you to participate in the international scientific and practical conference
«State Policy on National Minorities Rights Protection: Experience of Visegrad Group Countries»

Venue: the city of Lviv (The main building of the National University «Lviv Polytechnic», Assembly Hall, 12 S. Bandery Street, Lviv).
Working languages of the conference: Ukrainian and English.
The form of participation: full-time / part-time.
Registration of participants: June 18, 2019 at 10.00 am.
The term for sending an article to a collective monograph: until 20.05.2019.

 

 

The purpose of the conference is to consider different approaches to the implementation of the policy of protecting the rights of national minorities in Ukraine and Visegrad Group countries, to identify problems and threats in the implementation of ethnopolitics by modern European states, along with drafting recommendations to the governing institutions for their warning and prevention.

The Conference would be conducted on the basis of a multidisciplinary approach to provide an effective discussion platform for consideration key achievements and principal challenges in the field of protecting the rights of national minorities in Ukraine and in the EU states, in particular in the Visegrad countries, and would provide effective communication between scientific centres, civil society institutions and state authorities.

The objective of the conference is to highlight, test and popularize domestic and foreign researchers scientific achievements, to represent the best state practices in the field of national minorities rights protection, and to provide recommendations to state authorities taking into account the proposals of representatives of national minorities.

Representatives of scientific communities, civil society, state authorities, foreign states and international organizations, mass media, as well as all interested people are invited for the conference.
