Regularities of Modifying, Morphology and Properties of Thermoplastics Containing Polyvinylpyrrolidone

The peculiarities of modifying polyamide 66/6 and polystyrene thermoplastics with polyvinylpyrrolidone in the viscous state have been studied. By applying in-strumental methods, the changes in morphology and phase transitions of modified materials have been revealed. The influence of the modifier on the strength and thermo-physical properties of the researched thermoplastics was determined.

Theory and practice of obtaining composite materials based on polymer blends

The regularities of the thermodynamic compatibility of various industrially produced polyolefins and heterochain polymers and the possibility of obtaining composite materials based on their mixtures with significantly increased performance properties based on existing production facilities and process equipment have been identified.

Influence of Propylene Units Stereoregularity in Modified Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Elastomers on the Ozone Resistance of Covulcanizates with Acrylonitrile-butadiene Rubbers

The modification of ethylene–propylene–diene elastomers via the addition of fragments of an accelerating agent to improve their compatibility with acrylonitrile-butadiene rubbers and to reduce the rate of ozone degradation of the polydiene matrix is efficient only in the case of low stereoregularity of propylene units in the ethylene–propylene–diene copolymers when the crosslinking system is added to acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber.
