Investigation of Air Exergy from Condenser of Air Split-Conditioner Heat Pump and Its Exergetic Efficiency Depending on Outside Air Temperature

Rising prices for fuel and energy resources make the problem of using alternative energy sources and energy saving relevant not only for the economy of Ukraine, but also for the world economy. One of the ways to reduce energy consumption is the use of air split-conditioner heat pumps in building heating systems, which are using up to 1 kW of electricity from the grid to transport up to 5 kW of heat energy from the outdoor air to the indoor air. The energy perfection of air split-conditioner heat pumps can best be established only on the basis of the analysis of their exergy efficiency.

INFLUENCE OF THE CONDENSER AND EVAPORATOR AIR FLOWS ON THE CONDENSATION AND EVAPORATION PRESSURES OF AIR SPLIT-CONDITIONERS HEAT PUMPS

In the face of growing shortages and rising prices for fuel and energy resources, the problem of energy conservation and the use of alternative energy sources to solve the problem of reducing energy consumption for the Ukrainian economy become very important. Today, the use of air splitconditioner heat pumps in buildings' heating systems is becoming more common.

INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY, OPERATION AND ENERGY MANAGEMENT OF BUILDING: SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY PARK, TUKE

The current goal of increasing the energy efficiency of buildings should be implemented holistically, considering multidisciplinary measures during the design phase. For the application of innovative technologies it is crucial to know the building’s function, operational requirements, the investor’s financial scope and environmental conditions or limitations. This concept is a continuous process to attain suitable architectural and construction solutions, technical systems and efficiently manage the operation of the building.

Photovoltaic system and energy demands of the office building

During the research, there was developed methodology to calculate the amount of produced electricity, which is directly based on measured weather conditions for the city of Košice during the last years. According to this calculation we can assume coverage of electricity consumption of the circulation pumps in the heating and cooling system.

Heat pump heating systems and low potential heat sources

This paper focuses on the application of renewable energy resources in the form of heat pumps and their use in heating systems. As the energy prices are constantly rising, the energy management is currently a very important issue. One of the main reasons is that obtaining the primary energy sources like coal and oil is much more difficult than in the past. The use of renewable energy sources has become a worldwide trend and is one of the ways to get cheaper and more accessible primary energy that has a minimum impact on the environment compared to conventional sources of energy (e.g.
