The Acceleration of Transgression in Nick Land’s Philosophy
The aim of the article is to analyze the transformation of the concept of transgression in Nick Land's philosophy, particularly in relation to Georges Bataille’s philosophy and Land’s project of accelerationism. Land argues that transgression only partially addresses the problem of the death of God, as it remains confined to a fleeting moment experiencing the sacred. The transgression must be surpassed through the acceleration of nihilistic processes, which are linked with the dynamics of capital expansion and artificial intelligence (AI).
