Machine Learning Methods to Increase the Energy Efficiency of Buildings

Predicting a building’s energy consumption plays an important role as it can help assess its energy efficiency, identify and diagnose energy system faults, and reduce costs and improve climate impact. An analysis of current research in the field of ensuring the energy efficiency of buildings, in particular, their energy assessment, considering the types of models under consideration, was carried out.

ARCHITECTURE OF THE BUILDINGS OF LVIV POLYTECHNIC IN THE FIRST PERIOD OF OPERATION, BEFORE 1877: ADAPTATION OF THE OLD OBIECTS AND NEW PROJECTS IN THE CITY CENTER

In the works of the history of Lviv Polytechnic, the first years of operation of the technical school are connected with the building in the center of Lviv, on the street Teatralna 20. However, the real architectural history of the Polytechnic has been richer in objects and more connected with center of the city. Newly released archival documents that touch on the history of Lviv Polytechnic make it possible to look differently at the first period of its existence.

NEW PREFABRICATED REINFORSTED CONCRETE CARCASSES FOR MULTISTORY BUILDINGS AND TECHNOLOGY OF MANUFACTURING AND ASSEMBLING

Typical prefabricated carcasses with a regular grid of columns and a constant height of floors were used mostly in the construction of multi-storey buildings for different purposes, for many previous decades. Such typical prefabricated and non-typical carcasses have several drawbacks: diversity of the prefabricated elements, complexity of installation, high work content and cost of construction. During almost half a century, the use of prefabricated reinforced concrete structures has been developed and implemented many typical designs and technologies for their manufacture at factories.

PRECAST CARCASSING RISE BUILDINGS WITH IRREGULAR GRIDS AND VARIABLE HEIGHT OF FLOORS

In the construction of multi-storey buildings for different purposes, for many previous decades mostly typical prefabricated frame with a regular grid of columns and a constant height a floors were used. Such typical prefabricated and custom frames have several disadvantages, complexity of installation and connection of nodes frames, diverse nature technology of prefabricated elements, high complexity and cost of construction. To avoid these drawbacks a new system of frames with irregular grid of columns and variable height floors.

Envelope structure materials experimental research in non-stationary thermal-humidity conditions

Content of the article will be the evaluation of fragments and construction details of the building envelope, the heat-air-moisture and energy characteristics, their impact on the state of indoor environment, the material parameters. Research is carried out in real conditions in situ and laboratory research in the preparation of experimental models. The project will build on the results obtained from solved projects.
