Macromodeling of electrical grids with renewable energy sources for assessing their energy efficiency

In the article it is proposed to use macro-modeling of electrical grids for assessing the quality of their operation in the form of an integrated readiness characteristic of electrical grids with RES. It has been done on the basis of the analysis of the problems of providing high-quality electrical supply under conditions of the intensive development of renewable energy sources (RES) and characteristics of electrical grids determined by means of qualimetry that are essential for providing high-quality electricity.

INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY, OPERATION AND ENERGY MANAGEMENT OF BUILDING: SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY PARK, TUKE

The current goal of increasing the energy efficiency of buildings should be implemented holistically, considering multidisciplinary measures during the design phase. For the application of innovative technologies it is crucial to know the building’s function, operational requirements, the investor’s financial scope and environmental conditions or limitations. This concept is a continuous process to attain suitable architectural and construction solutions, technical systems and efficiently manage the operation of the building.

Operation features of the converters of an autonomous power supply system

The article consideres the problem of extraction of maximum energy from a solar panel in an autonomous power supply system working with renewable sources under the condition of constant joint operation of a solar panel and a diesel generator. It is proposed to solve the problem taking into account the nonlinearity of the external characteristics of energy sources.

Approximation of equivalent source parameters change function by Franklin functions

A problem of approximation of the primary energy flow parameters change function by linear approximations to ensure a minimal error is considered in the paper. A representation of the parameters of voltage and internal resistance of equivalent generators of renewable sources as linear functions allows an increase in the level of energy transmitted to the load. To solve the problem set, it is proposed to approximate the primary energy flow parameters change function by the system of Franklin orthonormal functions.

Photovoltaic system and energy demands of the office building

During the research, there was developed methodology to calculate the amount of produced electricity, which is directly based on measured weather conditions for the city of Košice during the last years. According to this calculation we can assume coverage of electricity consumption of the circulation pumps in the heating and cooling system.
