DAMAGE ASSESSMENT OF THE «SUNNY HOUSE» – AN ARCHITECTURAL MONUMENT IN LVIV, AFTER RUSSIAN MISSILE ATTACK

The article reports on damage assessment of Ludwig Heller’s House – one of the architectural monuments affected by the Russian missile attack on the city of Lviv on September 4, 2024. The authors took part in the on the ground research first as part of the local commission on September 6, and later within the joint UNESCO-ICCROM mission on September 2-5, 2024.

INVESTIGATION OF STRESS-STRAIN PARAMETERS IN RC BEAMS USING DIC

The article discusses the assessment of the state of reinforced concrete beams using the digital image correlation method and submicron indicators. Bending elements are the most widely used in reinforced concrete structures, so the ability to accurately evaluate and use new methods that simplify the labor intensity of the process and increase the accuracy of measuring deformations and load-bearing capacity is extremely important.

ANALYSIS OF THE IMPACT OF CROSS-SECTION DAMAGE ON THE STRENGTH AND DEFORMABILITY OF BENT REINFORCED CONCRETE ELEMENTS

The article analyzes defects and damage in reinforced concrete structures, particularly physical, biological, and chemical, with an emphasis on the impact of prolonged operation and aggressive environmental conditions. Research shows that mechanical damage, such as spalling and potholes, significantly reduces the load-bearing capacity of structures and causes complex deformations.

INCREASING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF CIVIL PROTECTION BY THE DESIGN OPTIMIZING: THE REVIEW

Due to today's conditions, it is necessary to reconsider the purpose of buildings and structures that use a significant number of reinforced concrete elements subjected to complex stress-strain states. The researchers are faced with the task of determining the residual bearing capacity of an element with uneven damage, which will allow choosing the most optimal option for calculating and selecting materials.

INJECTION OF CRACKS IN A RC BEAM WITH EPOXY RESIN USING THE GRAVITY FLOW METHOD

The restoration of the load-bearing capacity of RC beams through crack injection is one of the most efficient and practical methods for executing repairs in the field of civil engineering. In the article, following an analysis of crack injection methods in RC structures, an economically viable method for injecting RC beams is proposed. The core approach of the proposed crack injection method involves the process of introducing epoxy resin into the crack, which occurs by gravity flow (without specialized equipment and pressure).

The international experience of postwar economy development: the lessons for Ukraine

The article is devoted to issues of developing Ukrainian economy after the war. Damage for Ukrainian economy in 2022 after the aggression of the russian federation in 2022 is enormous. Economic consequences of aggression of the russian federation for Ukraine are comparable to consequences for other countries in XX century after the wars. This fact causes the expediency of studying and using experience on the mentioned countries concerning development of their postwar economies.

THE INFLUENCE OF DAMAGE TO REINFORCED CONCRETE BEAM ON STRENGTH AND DEFORMABILITY: THE REVIEW

In accordance with current conditions, it is necessary to change the aim of buildings and structures in which a large number of reinforced concrete elements that undergo complex stress-deformed states are used. The task for researchers is to determine the residual bearing capacity of the element with uneven damage, making it possible to choose the most optimal calculation option and select materials for optimization, preservation of strength, and durability.

Modeling quality of underground pipelines in the conditions of corrosive fatigue

The presence of fatigue cracks on the surface of metallic underground pipelines sharpens the problem of calculation values of strength characteristics at the action of corrosive environments, that did not find the complete decision nowadays. In this connection it is needed to correct the row of defects and normative and technical documents related to insufficient actuality of corresponding.
