Synthesis and Initiating Activity of Со(II)-Mn(II) Bimetallic Macroinitiators of β-Diketonate Type
Bimetallic macroinitiators have been obtained via styrene triple copolymerization with cobalt(II) and manganese(II) vinyl--diketonates. The copolymerization kinetic parameters have been studied. Metal chelates were found to be as comonomers, initiators and inhibitors at the same time during copolymerization process. The macroinitiators synthesis optimal conditions have been examined. They may be used for the production of grafted polymers.
