Solving the Forward Kinematics Problem for a Welding Manipulator With Six Degrees of Freedom

The article proposes a solution of the forward kinematics problem for a welding manipulator with six degrees of freedom. Solving this problem is the first necessary step in creating a control system for this manipulator. This will make it possible to determine the displacement, accelerations and moments in each of the manipulator parts and will ensure accurate positioning of the welding tool.

Kinematics of the mechanism of shelf attachment of elevator shelving

The structural design of the mechanism of stabilization of horizontal position of the shelf of elevator shelving with a chain drive is proposed. The analytical dependencies for determination of the motion trajectory of supporting and guiding rollers of the shelf supporting mechanism are derived. The formulas for defining the horizontal and vertical displacement of the center of the arc of the trajectory of the guiding roller relative to the center of the driving star of the chain transmission during the shelf passing through the "characteristic" regions are presented.

Structural and Kinematic Synthesis of the 1-DOF Eight-Bar Walking Mechanism with Revolute Kinematic Pairs

Problem statement. The use of existing and the most widespread drives (wheeled and caterpillar one) is sometimes limited by complicated operational conditions while moving on rough terrain. The mentioned drives require a relatively flat surface to be operated effectively. A rocky or a hilly terrain imposes the demand of the use of alternative types of drives, in particular, walking ones.

Theoretical Analysis of Granules Movement Hydrodynamics in the Vortex Granulators of Ammonium Nitrate and Carbamide Production

Mathematical calculations for determining the hydrodynamic characteristics of granules movement in the workspace of the vortex granulator, which is the main ultimate process of chemical technology and forms properties of ordinary and porous ammonium nitrate and carbamide, are presented in this paper. Components of a granule velocity and the granulator design impact on them are analytically determined. Comparison of theoretical and experimental studies is performed.
