The article examines topical issues of the legal nature of self-defense of civil rights: scientific approaches to defining the concept of self-defense, methods as elements of self-defense, as well as its forms. Determined that the responsibilities arising from the marriage – a mutual responsibility of husband and wife for the behavior during the marriage, the marriage relationship and for violating the rights of each other as parents after divorce.
