The article includes the analysis of the peculiarities of the using information technologies by Russian Federation in the context of conducting information-psychological special operations in Ukraine at the present stage. Russian information-psychological operations’ in Ukraine essence, peculiarities, aims, subjects, objects and distribution channels are disclosed. The periodization of the transformation stages of Russian information-psychological operations against Ukraine is disclosed.

The article contains an analysis of the problems and prospects of the implementation of electronic voting in Ukraine through the prism of assessing potential threats. An expert survey has been conducted on the threats of implementing electronic voting during elections in Ukraine, which is based on the author's methodology for calculating the level of electronic voting security.

The concept of “mass communication” in the works of Ukrainian and foreign scholars considers the exchange of international information, which is related to certain social members and which is mediated through special technical means. It consists of at least three aspects: information, the process of transmission and dissemination of information, as well as the actual means of communication. Through these processes, the world community can learn about what is happening in a country.

The article identifies the positive and negative aspects of using social networks in the performance of professional duties of journalists. It was found that with the development of social networks, the journalist’s life became easier. After all, it has become easier to search for information, more access to sources and people who can comment on certain events. Access to sources and individuals who can comment on certain events has also been greatly facilitated. Access to politicians, public figures and celebrities who can be written on social networks has also been greatly facilitated.

The article deals with analyzing the process of research products commercialization at higher education institutions in Ukraine and certain developed foreign countries. The process of research products commercialization at Ukrainian higher education institutions is observed as a reasonable and necessary way for increasing their financial potential. The authors study and analyze different techniques and ways of research products commercialization used by foreign higher education institutions. Some problems of research products commercialization in Ukraine are identified.

The article deals with the problem of Russian information war against Ukraine. The authors explain the primary sense of the information war, its interpretation in the framework of wide and narrow approaches. Basing on the use of historic, systemic and structural-functional methods, the main disadvantages of the information sphere of Ukraine and the central mechanisms of its protection are identified. The tools of counteraction to the Russian information war against Ukraine are divided into two groups: legislative and institutional.
