Artificial Intelligence in Logistics: Opportunities and Challenges

The integration of artificial intelligence into the logistics industry is a rapidly evolving field with the potential to revolutionize the way goods are transported and managed. Artificial intelligence can be used to optimize a wide range of logistics processes, from demand forecasting and route planning to warehouse management and customer service. However, the integration of artificial intelligence also raises a number of technical and ethical issues that need to be addressed to ensure its successful implementation.

E-commerce logistics: supply chain resilience

The global dynamics of e-commerce development are analyzed. The main drivers of е-сommerce development, in particular: ease of access to the Internet, development of social networks, increased competition, increased consumer expectations are identified. The current state and features of the development of е-сommerce in Ukraine have been studied and summarized. Consumer priorities when buying online were identified: saving money, proof of availability of the necessary product, saving time, ease of choice, security, etc.

The usage of genetic algorithms when planning railway transportation in international connection

The railway transport system in Ukraine stands as a pivotal sector within the nation's transportation infrastructure, accounting for a substantial portion of freight and passenger movement compared to domestic alternative modes of transportation. With direct border connections and collaboration with railways in Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Hungary, Ukrzaliznytsia JSC facilitate operations through forty international railway crossings.

Cross-platform software system for the logistics of humanitarian services

The problem of designing a cross-platform software system for the logistics of humanitarian services is considered. Existing software analogs of international deliveries are considered. A comparison of popular software products in the field of international trade is given.

The technologies for developing software services to ensure the cross-platform system for the logistics of humanitarian services are reviewed.

Roman Ingarden on Ontological and Formal Meaning of Propositions. (Foreword to the Ukrainian Translation of Roman Ingarden’s work “Critical Remarks on Positivist Logic”).

For the first time, the work “Critical Remarks on Positivist Logic” by the famous Polish philosopher Roman Ingarden (1893–1970), whose researches in the field of ontology, phenomenology and aesthetics have significant achievements in the world philosophy, is translated into the Ukrainian. In addition, he conducted research in such areas as linguistics and logic. But these, so to speak, applied studies of language and logic were, in one way or another, connected with his ontological and realistic-phenomenological views.

Purpose – The purpose of the article is to analyze the problematic issues of logistics business processes optimization and justify the need for the implementation of information systems and technologies into the logistics management of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The article substantiates the necessity of studying and systematizing the factors which influence development of logistics in Ukraine. The results of research into external factors having impact on the development of logistics allowing for globalization, internationalization and integration in all spheres of social life are exposed. A generalized ordering of the most significant factors influencing the logistics development is performed.
