THE ATTITUDE OF YOUNG AUDIENCES TO THE NATIONAL TELETHON DURING THE WAR

The article deals with the peculiarities of demand and the justification of the functioning of the national telethon «The only news (Yedyni Novyny)» in the second year of the RussianUkrainian war through the prism of the preferences of the young audience. Attention is focused on the main arguments of criticism of the national telethon and compared with real threats and challenges.

Today, cultural issues should be one of the most popular among the viewers of the Ukrainian channels, because such programs affect the level of their education and culture in general. Modern globalization has determined the specifics of socio-cultural dynamics, and media play an important role in this process, demonstrating a channel of translation of the values ​​and content of mass culture, whose stereotypes are widely disseminated in the socio-cultural space. Media in modern society have a significant impact on the formation of value orientations.

JOURNALISM ON THE EDGE: FEATURES OF TV NEWS AT THE TERRITORIES OF DONETSK AND LUHANSK REGIONS

The results of scientific research concerning features of regional news of Luhansk and Donetsk regions are examined in this article as well as empirical analysis of possibilities of TV channels of beforementioned regions and monitoring of expectations of recipients who live on the edge between the territories occupied by Russia and the territories under control of Ukraine.
