The article is devoted to the analysis of controversial issues of qualification of premeditated murder of the mother of her newborn baby. It is stated that the studied norm of the Criminal Code of Ukraine requires further study and changes. In particular, Art. 117 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine it is necessary to supplement and state the conditions of the psycho-traumatic situation during the murder of the mother of his newborn child in a serious psychophysical state caused by childbirth.

It was revealed that the appointment of a forensic psychiatric examination in criminal
proceedings. The basic questions of forensic psychiatric examination of the suspect in the
murder were determined. The analysis of expert researches of the socio-psychological
component of the characteristics of the killer person is carried out.

Розкрито поняття та суть спеціальних знань, що їх використовують під час роз-
слідування вбивств. Визначено напрями використання спеціалістів під час огляду місця
події. Окреслено основні завдання спеціаліста, який залучають до огляду вчинення міс-
ця вбивства. Розглянуто діяльність спеціаліста щодо виявлення, фіксування та вилу-
чення слідів злочину під час огляду місця події.
