NUMERICAL MODELING OF THE FLAT AIR JET PHYSICAL PROPERTIES IN A ROOM

The article presents the study results of air distribution in a room with a flat air jet. In particular, dynamic pressure, density and viscosity of air flow were considered. Aim of a paper is to numerically simulate these physical properties of a flat air jet in a room. A graphical representation of air jet parameters was obtained using package CFD Ansys FLUENT software. A hypothesis of applying Mendeleev-Clapeyron equation to moving air flow was considered. Flat air jets have been found to be effective in terms of velocity attenuation in indoor air distribution.

TACTILE FUNCTION OF THE HUMAN BODY IN THE PROCESS OF VISUAL VOLUME FORMATION

The paper substantiates the importance of visual and tactile functions of the human body in the process of creation of volumetric and spatial compositions in architecture and design planning; generalizes the profound academic knowledge of visual and attributable characteristics of objects and their geometrical parameters for the competent arrangement of hologram aspects of linear and tonal perspectives. The research is dedicated to the process of perception and understanding of the term “volume” as the main characteristic feature of survival and self-protection of humans in nature.

Method for determining the volume Lviv solid waste landfill by using archival mapping materials and UAV Trimble UX-5

Purpose. Lviv landfill has some features that should be considered when developing the methodology for determining the volume. The initial relief of severe fragmentation and a height difference of more than 70 meters make it is impossible to set the original horizontal plane for determining the volume. The slope of current garbage body surface ranges from 0 to 85 degrees and a vertical drop is more than 80 m. This leads to significant relief errors in carry out for aerialphotography.
