Digital mapping of territories using SLAM technology: analysis of the accuracy of the results obtained

The article addresses the issues of digital mapping of territories using modern equipment and innovative methods for performing topographic and geodetic work. Objective: To study modern territorial mapping methods and justify mapping approaches using SLAM technology. Methods and Results: The study employed a territorial mapping method using handheld laser scanners with SLAM technology. Terrain reconnaissance was conducted, control geodetic points were established, and fieldwork was performed using a Stonex X120GO scanner.

3d model of Medova cave, Lviv

The purpose of this article is to present and provide a detailed analysis of the 3D model of the Medova Cave in Lviv, created using laser scanning technology. The main objectives include revealing the accuracy and detailing the obtained model, as well as determining its potential applications in various fields such as geological research, scientific exploration, cultural heritage, and tourism.

Comparison of modern 3D measurement methods for special tasks of shipbuilding industry

Research presents modern technologies of 3D measurements in shipbuilding production parts. Special template of the keel detail was made for the research. The detail measurements with a laser tracker, laser scanning, industrial photogrammetry and handheld scanning are performed. Leica Absolute Tracker AT960-LR was used for Laser tracker measurements. Laser scanning was performed with Z+F Imager 5010. Nikon D2Xs photo camera was used for Industrial photogrammetry. Handheld scanner DPI-7 from DotProduct was also used for 3D measurements of the details.

Investigation of the technology of drawing up frontal plans of architectural structures by ground digital

The analysis of technological scheme for creation of façade plans of architectural monuments which are subject restoration by a digital survey and laser scanning is presented. Attention is accented on insufficiency of information at the use only of laser scanning. At the same time, there is possibility not only to get necessary information for the further architectural measuring but also increase accuracy of obtaining co-ordinates of object points due to the redundant amount of control points at joint treatment of processing of survey and scanning.

A priori accuracy of frontal plans compilation by the method of combined use of laser scanning and ground digital surveying

The analysis of a priori accuracy of determine spatial co-ordinates of facade plans of architectural constructions that made by a digital survey and laser scanning and which are subject restoration is presented. The attention is focused on influence of the investigated errors of laser scanning and digital camera.
