The purpose of the work is to study the features of seismotectonics of the junction zone of the Oash and Transcarpathian faults in the Ukrainian Transcarpathians. The research methodology combines a complex analysis of geological-tectonic, seismological, geomorphological and geodetic data on the studied area. For the clarification of coordinates and depths of local earthquake foci we applied methods of their hypocenters specification, using a calculated seismological hodograph and kinematic corrections.

Objective. The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of the Pokuttia deep fault on tectonics and the oil- and gas-bearing of the south-eastern part of the Ukrainian Carpathians.  Methodology. It is contained in the detailed complex analysis of the geological-geophysical data on the given area.

Aim. Investigations of Carpathians backdeep seismicity peculiarities and their correlation with fault-block structure of the crust. Methodology. For the analysis of Transcarpathians seismicity were used instrumental seismological observations in Carpathian network during 2001-2012 years. Was done a comparison of earth¬quake epicenters maps with fault-block structure of the region, distribution of earthquakes hypocenter depth had been analyzed. Analysis of seismic faults of Transcarpathian deep was completed.
