The paper tackles the problem of faithful rendering of the terms ‘parsing’ and ‘stemming’ into the Ukrainian language. Nowadays, the use of these terms is extended beyond the domain of applied linguistics. The authors believe that the Ukrainian equivalents proposed adequately convey the meaning of the English terms.
The article considers the problems of compiling a teaching terminological dictionary that would contribute to formation of the integral outlook of the professional to-be at the educational process as well as developing his system approach to analysis of any phenomena. Furthermore, suggestions are made concerning the principles of compiling and organising macro- and microstructures of the dictionary.
In this article the structure of Ukrainian-Russian-Belarusian-Polish dictionary of comparisons was analyzed and the technology of its transformation from paper into electronic form was proposed.
