У статті детально проаналізовано участь будівельних інформаційних технологій у професійній підготовці здобувачів першого (бакалаврського) рівня вищої освіти за спеціальністю 191 «Архітектура та містобудування» в Інституті архітектури та дизайну Національного університету «Львівська політехніка». Особливу увагу приділено вивченню ролі сучасних технологій у формуванні ключових навичок і професійних компетенцій майбутніх архітекторів.
