Розглянуто питання організації системи комунікаційної діяльності для забезпечення сумісної роботи членів територіально розподіленої проектної команди та проблеми, що виникають під час взаємодії учасників команди розробників.

Запропоновано такі рішення цих проблем: відокремлений певний вид комунікацій – віддалені комунікації, розроблена система класифікації віддалених комунікацій, що надалі стала основою моделі системи комунікаційної діяльності для використання в ІТ-компаніях.
