The 3rd International Workshop on Social Communication and Information Activity in Digital Humanities (SCIA-2024) took place in Lviv, Ukraine, on October 31, 2024, in a hybrid format, featuring both offline and online presentations via the Zoom platform. The workshop theme has been refined this year into six key areas of interest: Digitization of Historical and Cultural Objects; Computational Linguistics in Digital Humanities Practices; Data Visualization, Image Processing, and Media Design; Social Media and Information Behavior; Open Science, Open Data and Scholarly Digital Resources; Digital Pedagogy and Media Education. This volume of workshop proceedings features 16 papers, each rigorously reviewed and chosen for presentation and in-depth discussion.
