This article deals with the criminal rules of law which define corruption offenses. There were analyzed features of the corruption crimes that distinguish this group from other crimes stipulated in the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Classification criteria for this group of crimes were also proposed. It was determined practical and theoretical sense of allocation of corruption offenses in the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The article determines the condition of the development and implementation of anticorruption policy in Ukraine. The effectiveness of state anti-corruption policy is analyzed on the basis of certain indicators and there is proved that Ukraine has created sufficient organizational and legal basis for struggle against corruption. Ways of improving the state anti-corruption policy are suggested.

This article investigates criminal legal description of bribing a person who provides a public service. Definitely essential content objective and subjective attributes corresponding elements of the crime, which is important for improving the practice of the new anti-corruption provisions of the criminal laws of Ukraine. Revealed incomplete implementation of the basic provisions of international anti-corruption conventions in domestic criminal law , in terms of determining the list of penal forms of bribery of a person who provides public services .

The article deals with the abuse of power and of authority in public service, serving politico-legal form of power that does not meet the functional nature of the institutions of power and produces destructive and harmful impact on the national state as a system of
interconnected and interrelated political, legal , socio-economic, spiritual, moral, ethnic, cultural and other components and relationships.
