Seismotectonics of the Oash and Transcarpathian deep faults junction zone (Ukrainian Transcarpathians)

The purpose of the work is to study the features of seismotectonics of the junction zone of the Oash and Transcarpathian faults in the Ukrainian Transcarpathians. The research methodology combines a complex analysis of geological-tectonic, seismological, geomorphological and geodetic data on the studied area. For the clarification of coordinates and depths of local earthquake foci we applied methods of their hypocenters specification, using a calculated seismological hodograph and kinematic corrections.

Structure, dynamics and seismotectonics of faulting zones (by results of physical modelling and field studies) parth 1: physical modelling

Purpose. The aim of the work is to present and to analyze the results of physical modeling and field studies of processes of formation, evolution and modern geodynamic and seismotectonic activity of subvertical shear zones (SVShZ), in particular of faulting kinematics. Methods. Physical modeling was conducted on the special modeling machine for break dip angle 75, 60 and 45. As a plastic-viscous modeling materials for this were used a special paste which are based on clay. Field researches included geoacoustic emission, PIEMPZ, extenzometric, tiltmetric and seismological methods.

Seismicity, geology, seismotectonics and geodynamics of Tereblya-Ritska HPS area (Ukrainian Transcarpathians)

Purpose. The aim of the work is to conduct the complex analysis of seismicity, geology, seismotectonics and difference scale geodynamic processes in the Tereblya-Rika hydro power station (HPS) area in the Ukrainian Transcarpathians (23.35-23.87ºS, 48.23-48.51ºN) to refine estimation of geo-ecological risks.
