Fractionation of Oil Mixture into Jet and Diesel Fuel. Simulation and Optimization in ChemCad

The jet and diesel fuels production line has been simulated using the universal simulating program ChemCad. The choice of the rectification process calculation module was substantiated. The Grayson-Streed and Lee Kesler models were used for the calculation of the thermodynamic system and the phase equilibrium of the multicomponent mixture. The model of an oil mixture distillation unit for jet and diesel fuels production has been developed.

In the article on an example from expert practice the considered methods of forensic еxamination of microparticless of platinum. An exposure and separation of microparticless of platinum from mechanical mixture of other metallic microparticless conducted with the use of methods of optical microscopy, magnetic separation and chemical dissolution of metals.
For the decision of diagnostic and identification questions the method of emission spectrology was used.

The paper presents the results of research of the separation of suspensions using flocculants based on polyacrylamide. The mechanism of the floccule formation, as well as polyacrylamide adsorption on the surface of clay particles, depending on the concentration of solids in suspension and flocculant costs are described. An optimal concentration of solids in suspension and flocculant consumption rate which the highest rate of the solid phase deposition is identified. Technology of Recycling, Properties and Use of Polyvinylchloride-Coated Paper Waste

The technology of recycling of polymer-coated paper waste is described. Physical and chemical properties of fibers obtained from wallpaper wastes and from their derivative compositions were investigated. A special crusher with primary and secondary grinding stages and with a section for separating paper fibers from polymer coating was designed. Industrial trials of cellulose obtained from wallpaper wastes for the asbestos cement sheets manufacturing were held. Its impact on the quality and physical and mechanical properties of sheets was shown.
