Improved calculation and strength of thermowells during operation

Accurate evaluation of possible safe operation of thermowells essentially depends on the accuracy of the maximum stresses in them during operation. These stresses are generally determined from simple engineering formulas for bulk of canonical shape, mostly cylindrical shells or beams for the relevant boundary conditions. Thus the general solution is obtained step by step. First the tangential stresses are obtained from relations for cylinder subjected to external pressure.

Design features of criminology as a method of study of personality of university students in connection with the commission of mercenarily-violent crime

In the article the features of design of criminology are considered as a complex method of research of personality of student of institution of higher learning, in connection with doing of mercenarily-violent crimes. Methodology of design of criminology is specified.

Mathematical apparatus for prediction of anomalous inflows (tsunami)

The paper contains the description of the feasible approach to modeling of environmental processes, namely abnormal tidal (tsunami). The suggested mathematical apparatus is based on the statistical methods and comprises hidden Markov models, linguistic modeling and similar trajectories method.

Wave field simulation on the gas-condensate field structure

The results of seismic wave field modeling on the cross-section model of the crust (for Drobyshivske gas-condensate field example) were presented. Complicated cut of the crust, resulting geophysical study, represented as a reservoir model. When modeling, seismic wave field features of two-dimensional cross section were taken into account: longitudinal, transverse and exchange waves received on seismograms of longitudinal and transverse vibrations as a result of default distribution of velocities of longitudinal, transverse waves and the density in half-space medium.

Wave field simulation using finite element method on the Drobyshivske gas-condensate field structure

The results of seismic wave field modeling on the cross-section model of the crust (for Drobyshivske gascondensate field example) were presented. The cut of the crust which resulting the boreholes geophysical studies is represented as a reservoir model. When modeling, seismic wave field features of two-dimensional cross section were taken into account – longitudinal, transverse and exchange waves received on seismograms of longitudinal and transverse vibrations.

The formulation and development of methods of solving thermomechanics problems for irradiated layered solids

A mathematical model to describe a thermoelastic state of plane-parallel plates (plate composites) subjected to a thermal radiation is developed. The model is grounded on phenomenological theory of radiation and quasistatic thermoelasticity. It takes into account an effect of radiation on plate surfaces, contact boundaries, and in in semi-transparent areas.

Using genetic algorithms for modelling informational processes

In this article genetic algorithms are considered including their types and practical applications. The scientific works of domestic and foreign researchers have been studied. This article presents methods and examples of solving tasks of data mining for genetic algorithms. The description of main components of models of genetic algorithms is presented. A parallel between biological systems and systems aimed at solving technical problems is drawn.

Calculation of the dynamic response of reinforced concrete structures subjected to the ffects of heavy transport

A 3D model of a reinforced concrete building was created using a dynamic analysis which focused on the spectral response of the object represented by a random excitation experiment found in records in the form of load spectra.
