was born in Zelene village of Husiatyn district, Ternopil region, in 1953. He graduated from Lviv Polytechnic Institute in 1967. Ph.D. Solid State Electronics at Lviv Polytechnic Institite (1993), and his Doctor of Technical Sciences Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Lviv Polytechnic University in 2010. He is the author of more than 250 scientific papers, including 50 copyright certificates for inventions and patents of Ukraine, 1 monograph and textbooks.
