SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY FOR THE CITY OF ICHNYA BASED ON HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL RESEARCH

The study of the historical city of Ichnya with its rich historical past and great cultural heritage is relevant in our time. The article analyzes the historical development of the small city of Ichnya, organizes and systematizes information from various sources in the form of text descriptions and diagrams that highlight the key stages of its historical and urban development. Based on information sources, the history of the city's development is analyzed and the role of defensive, sacral and administrative buildings in shaping the cultural landscape of the city is determined. The purpose of the study is to identify approaches to preserving cultural heritage and improving infrastructure so that the historical city can develop in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. The research methodology is based on descriptive and analytical research to demonstrate how sustainable urban development can be implemented in the historical city of Ichnya. The study highlighted the stages of the historical and urban development of the city of Ichny, identified valuable objects of historical and cultural heritage that have not been studied holistically, but are valuable for the history of Ukrainian culture. Preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of Ichny is a key factor in achieving sustainable development of the city. Hypothetical schemes for the development of the city of Ichny in each historical period are shown. A historical and architectural reference plan has been developed with the designation of cultural and historical heritage objects. Based on field research, the current state of the architectural and urban development and landscape environment is described. Key problems and needs of the city in the fields of architecture and urban planning have been identified. Based on the results of the study, a strategy for sustainable development of Ichny has been proposed in such a way as to comply with environmental, social, cultural and economic standards of sustainability and prevent the collapse of the historical city.
