Dear colleagues!
We invite you to participate in the VIII Ukrainian-Polish Scientific Forum, which will be held in Lviv on May 18-19, 2023 as part of the ERASMUS+ J. Monnet Project “EU Eastern Partnership Initiative – Opportunities for Ukraine”.
The event is organized by the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Lviv Polytechnic National University (Ukraine) and the Institute of Political Science of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (Poland). Traditionally, the Forum is an effective platform for establishing Ukrainian-Polish relations within the educational and scientific space, civil society institutions, and public authorities of different levels. The purpose of this year’s Forum is to discuss topical issues of forming a new agenda for Europe and the European Union under conditions of full-scale Russian aggression; to consider promising formats of European cooperation in the fields of politics, democracy and human rights, economics, security, ecology and climate, culture, education, etc.; to search for effective cooperation mechanisms facilitating European integration of Ukraine as a candidate for EU membership.
Unfortunately, due to the large-scale war unleashed by Russia in Ukraine, the VIII Ukrainian-Polish Scientific Forum will be held online as the organizers seek to ensure that scientific cooperation is safe and continues to unite researchers from Ukraine, Poland, and other countries.
We invite scholars, educators and students, representatives of state authorities and civil society, whose research, teaching or professional activity are focused on issues of Ukrainian-Polish relations, multidimensional European integration, and development of systems of international security.
Participants of the Forum will receive certificates of participation in the scientific event.
Participation in the Forum for all participants IS FREE OF CHARGE.
THE FORUM WILL BE HELD
