This paper considers the mathematical model for digital modeling of relief which is based on using power polynomials, multiquadrics, splines, average-weight, weighted functions and Kriging method. For the research purpose of various functions for approximation of relief is applied cartometric method DEM creating. The analysis based on the standard deviation of the definition of the 560 height points it can be concluded that the Kriging method with exponential, linear or sphere type of variogram is preferred. The high accuracy of DEM creating may also provide to applicate the method of triangulation.
