The Editorial Board of the Interdepartmental Scientific and Technical Collection “Industrial Process Automation in Engineering and Instrumentation informs authors that they bear full personal responsibility for any improper borrowings or use of other researchers’ results, as well as for adherence to the principles of scientific citation ethics.
Only original materials that have not been previously published are accepted for publication.

Authors must ensure:

  • the originality of the submitted manuscripts, i.e. materials that have not been published in any other editions or in any languages;
  • the absence of plagiarism;
  • proper citation of relevant sources when using works or texts of third parties.

The Collection “Industrial Process Automation in Engineering and Instrumentation uses the software StrikePlagiarism.com to detect and control textual borrowings in submitted manuscripts.
The plagiarism percentage is calculated using software that checks documents for borrowings both in the local database and on the Internet.
The generated report is analyzed by the Editorial Board.

The Editorial Board reviews all cases of detected plagiarism and reserves the right to reject a manuscript before the peer-review process.
Scientific papers submitted to the journal are evaluated according to the following criteria:

  • if the originality of the manuscript exceeds 80%, the paper is accepted for consideration;
  • if the originality ranges from 60% to 80%, the paper is returned to the authors for revision with a recommendation to review the textual borrowings and resubmit the corrected manuscript;
  • if the originality is below 60%, the manuscript is not accepted for consideration.

Plagiarism in all its forms is unacceptable and is regarded as unethical behavior and a violation of professional standards governing relationships between authors, reviewers, editors, publishers, and readers. Such behavior contradicts the provisions of the Publication Ethics section.
If plagiarism is detected after publication, the Editorial Board conducts a thorough analysis of the case. The editorial office will contact the author to inform them of the circumstances identified. Depending on the extent of plagiarism, the document may also be removed from the journal’s database.
