Information on the V Ukrainian conference of young scientists in the field of metrology, which took place on January 29 – February 2, 2019 at the Lviv Polytechnic National University (Polytechnic-3 base, Slavske) is provided. The Department of Information and Measurement Technologies of L’viv Polytechnic held the conference. Co-organizers of the conference were: the Academy of Metrology of Ukraine, the L’viv Polytechnic National University, the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kiev Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky”, state enterprise “Research Institute of Metrology of Measuring and Control Systems” (“System”).
84 Ukrainian and foreign experts in the field of metrology, standardization, certification and quality management participated in the conference. Among them were scientists, engineers, post-graduate students and students from 19 higher educational establishments, institutions and enterprises of different regions of Ukraine.
The resolution of the conference in particular decided using its materials to improve the content of the relevant curricula, to form the subject of scientific research, to emphasize the importance of training specialists in practical aspects.
