The accuracy of plumb lines deflections computation for 9 points of International geodetic polygon of Western Alps area is considered with use of modern Earth gravity model EGM 2008 and computational results for these points of other authors. It is shown that accuracy of ~1" can be achieved in case of taking into account the first Molodensky corrections and height differences in points of International geodetic polygon.
