The article explores the challenges of globalization in the global oil market and proposes a strategy for addressing them. It was found that the globalization of the oil market and related issues significantly affect Ukraine’s economy and population due to the country's heavy dependence on oil and petroleum imports to meet domestic needs. Along with the impact of global oil market challenges, the war in Ukraine has significantly affected the country's energy security and exacerbated economic problems related to oil import dependence.

There has been conducted a complex study of implementation of a modern energy transportation projects to European countries, as well as threats and challenges that are carried out for both European Union

member states and Ukraine. The mentioned issue has become urgent due to the fact that the availability of natural resources is considered by individual countries, in particular, Russia, not as a commodity, but as a significant political leverage for the European countries that are currently dependent on Russian gas supplies.
