The article analyzes the social security of internally displaced persons. Based on the analysis of current legislation and modern scientific research, a definition of the concept of «internally displaced persons» is proposed. Namely, due to the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, a large number of Ukrainian citizens were forced to move, saving their own lives, which led to forced migration, both external and internal.
